After an Illinois high school pitcher recently threw 167 pitches in a game there is a movement to institute a limit on the number of pitches a high-schooler can throw in a game. Other states do require a pitch count, but most simply work on an innings limit. Here's another thing we believe should be mandated: Every high school dugout should have ice ready in the event of an injury or, for when a pitcher who has thrown many pitches comes out of the game. Imagine a kid throws 90-100, comes out in the 5th inning and sits on the bench for the remainder of the game, maybe as long as an hour, then does field work after, and then finally gets home and puts ice on his arm. We understand that it might not be convenient or possible to lug a cooler full of ice and plastic wrap out to every field. But fortunately, there is something much easier and much better. Our Pro Ice Team Kit is designed for exactly this need. With no need for water, plastic, coolers, etc. a coach with one of these will always have ice available in the dugout. Spread the word about our Pro Ice product!
